In this session, you will: • Understand why mental health and wellbeing should be prioritised; • Recognise the difference between mental health and mental illness; • Identify barriers that prevent people openly discussing mental health; • Learn how to spot signs of mental ill-health and distress in yourself and others; • Develop confidence in discussing mental health with others; • Understand the possible actions that can be taken to support mental ill health at work; • Appreciate the wide-ranging benefits of good mental health; • Develop strategies to take responsibility for your own mental health.
