Hi, I’m Tamara. Positive Psychology Coach and founder of Keystone Coaching. In addition to over 10 years' experience coaching and mentoring, I achieved a First in my Master's degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MAPPCP) at UEL. A qualified Coach and member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, I'm experienced in several research-based coaching approaches, as well as advanced coaching of individuals and groups in personal and professional capacities.

As a fully qualified coach I offer 1:1 coaching sessions for adults and also for young people aged 7 to 18 that draw on my 15 years+ teaching experience.

WHY POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY COACHING?
In a nutshell, coaching unlocks a persons potential to maximise their performance. In my experience it builds self-awareness and self-esteem, which empowers choice and leads to positive change.
Contrary to the image the name inspires, positive Psychology (PP) doesn’t seek to remove the negative from life but instead aims to bring balance between the two. It helps us understand how negativity can serve a purpose in helping us to flourish (2nd Wave PP). Traditionally focused on the individual, PP is also beginning to look beyond this narrow view and focus more on systems, teams and community dynamics (3rd Wave PP).
Over the past two decades, research has developed a broad range of coaching approaches. Coaching psychologists need a secure understanding of the psychological theories underpinning them to ensure they can select the most suitable method to help their client achieve their goals as quickly as possible.
Positive Psychology Coaching (PPC) is a scientifically-rooted approach to helping clients; increase well-being, enhance and apply strengths, improve performance, and achieve valued goals. At the core of PPC is a belief in the power of science to elucidate the best methods for development.
Positive Psychology Coaches and Coaching Psychologists assist clients to explore their values, strengths, and weaknesses, their resilience, and resourcefulness. They use their unique knowledge to select, and adapt if needed, an appropriate model, approach or intervention to enhance existing capabilities and to quickly and accurately secure improvements in performance, skills, behaviours and wellbeing in both work and personal domains.
By offering more precision around specific goals and their related psychological areas, clients become more focused around what changes they might need to make to achieve desired objectives.
